about tropic pegs

Dan and Donna Letton have served in China and Thailand for 20 years. Isaiah 54:2 has always been the scripture God brings to mind when they start a new work..."Make your tent larger, stretch your tent curtains farther out! Spare no effort, lengthen your ropes, and pound your pegs deep." They are now desiring to put some pegs down in Central America. God has opened doors for them in Bluefields, a small town on the east coast of Nicaragua. Several people have been very instrumental in this: Michael and Sue Buzbee, Bob and Myra Trolese, Dr. Noir Sirkir, Ed and Ligia Jaentschke.

Together with Verbo, a local church, they are hoping to build a boat to use for outreach to the surrounding villages and for medical clinics. There are no roads to reach those in isolated villages along the coast and the rivers that flow into the Caribbean.

Their mission group is Global Outreach International. You can contribute to their work through G.O., either online or by mail... globaloutreach.org or P.O. Box 1, Tupelo, MS 38802. The Lettons account number is 1056.

Stateside, their home church is Trinity Community Church in Tallahassee, Florida. You can contact them by email: dan.donna.letton@gmail.com.
